Mishal Cazmi

Mishal Cazmi is a Toronto-based freelance writer and editor with almost a decade of experience covering beauty, fashion and lifestyle. She’s also the founder of 100 ML, a website that takes a look at the world of beauty from a travel perspective.

Her work has appeared in print publications such as FASHION, The Kit, Hello! Canada, Elle Canada, S/ Magazine and Sotheby’s Insight, as well as online at Flare, Cosmetics Mag, Refinery29 Canada, CBC Life, Interview Magazine, Best Health and Canadian Living among others. You can also catch her on The Social as an on-air beauty expert.

In addition to writing and editing, her other services include copywriting, content marketing, SEO writing and brand consulting.

Previously, she was the fashion and beauty editor at Hello! Canada, an international publication where she focused on celebrity-driven trends in beauty and fashion. Prior to that, she was the beauty editor at Glow magazine, covering all aspects of the beauty industry. Over the course of her career, she has written, edited and produced content across multiple platforms, interviewed leading industry experts and celebrities, created branded content for top beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands, and led the beauty direction for photo shoots.

Mishal studied English Literature and History at the University of Toronto.

When she’s not busy storytelling, you can catch her either daydreaming about travel or plotting her next destination.
